Overview of Prohibited and Controlled Products Policy

The objective of this policy is to build the trust and confidence in our buyers when they shop on Lazada.

Below, we have listed some categories of prohibited or restricted items. However, this list is not exhaustive; as a seller, you are responsible for ensuring that you are not posting any item that is prohibited by law in your jurisdiction.

You may not post or sell any item that is restricted or prohibited by a federal, state or local law in your country or jurisdiction. As such, any relevant products currently unregistered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of the Philippines is also prohibited from being sold on the platform. You may refer to the following link for a list of advisories from the FDA regarding prohibited goods.

If you are not sure if an item you are intending to list can be sold on Lazada, please refer to Prohibited and Controlled Products List below for more information.

Any breach of the Prohibited and Controlled Products Policy may result in the removal of your product listing and/or issuance of non-compliance points. Lazada shall remove product listings, issue non-compliance points or take other any action that it deems necessary at its sole and absolute discretion.

It is important to note that a seller will face account deactivation once he accumulates 48 non-compliance points or more. Depending on the severity, under some circumstances, Lazada may make the decision to deactivate seller accounts immediately even if the seller has not accumulated the maximum number of non-compliance points. For more information, please refer to Non Compliance Points.

If you have received a notification that you had violated our policy and you would like to file appeal request, you may do so in the Growth Center
