What is the LazMall 30-day Return Period?

Starting June 28, 2021, LazMall will be revising its return policy to offer buyers a 30-day return period from the original 15-days as a way to show more trust to our buyers and in turn, receive more trust from them as well.

Buyers will now have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to initiate a return of the item by clicking the Return/Refund button on their Lazada app in case they encounter any issues with their order.

Order is delivered before June 28 - will follow the 15-day return period
Order is delivered June 28 onwards - will follow the 30-day return period


What other parts of the return process will change?

No other parts of the return process will change aside from the buyer return period.

a. Process & Timeframe: The process and timeframes for buyer returns after it is initiated will not change. Lazada will continue to manage the returns and conduct the quality checks before the buyer is refunded.
b. Allowable Reasons: Valid reasons for returns will not change.
c. Ineligible Items: Exclusions will not change for the Non-Returnable Items (e.g., digital goods) and Refund Only Items (e.g., personal clothing such as swimwear and underwear; grocery/food items).


What should I do to prepare for this change?

a. Prevention is better than cure: Review your store's buyer returns history to understand what are the main reasons for returns in order to address them
b. Do not worry about volume: Most buyers initiate returns within 3 days of delivery. While the longer return period will give more flexibility to buyers, an increase in the number of returns is not expected to be big

Ano ang mga kailangan kong gawin para paghandaan ang pagbabagong ito?

a. Prevention is better than cure: Alamin ang mga rason ng pagre-return ng inyong mga buyers at siguraduhing masolusyunan ang mga ito kung kinakailangan para maiwasan ang pag-return
