1. Introduction
The store name is an important attribute that collectively represents the products listed in a LazMall store.
The LazMall Store Name Policy (“Policy”) describes the rules applicable to all LazMall sellers, with effect from 25 Aug 2023
2. General Rules
LazMall store should be named based on the brand attributes, categories of the seller's assortment (if applicable – see below), and other factors. Detailed guidelines on the conventions of naming a LazMall store can be found under Section 3 in this policy.

The criteria stated in the above tables should be read in conjunction with the existing criteria stated in Lazada’s Store Naming Policy.
LazMall reserves the right to make appropriate amendments to stores’ names that do not comply with the LazMall Store Name Requirements. This includes exceptional circumstances, such as, when a seller names a store after a brand name or trademark without any authorization from the owner of the brand name or trademark.
3. Naming Convention for Different Lazmall Store Types
Sellers should comply with the following naming convention based on their respective store types.

4. Changes to Store Name
Once a store name has been registered with LazMall, changes to the store name will not be allowed. Sellers should exercise care and due diligence when registering their store name with LazMall.
Should a store name change be required under exceptional circumstances, the request must be supplemented with supporting documents and reasons (e.g. changes to operating entity, seller name, brand name and et cetera), subject to Lazada’s sole discretion.
5. Enforcement
Penalties will be imposed on sellers who do not comply with the policy. Depending on the severity of the violations, Lazada in its sole discretion may enforce issuance of non-compliance points (NCP), revocation of LazMall status or deactivation of the store.
