he is asking me to add 2 more item from the chosen variant he/she chose

Another Tips po sa ganitong scenario:
If ever na may request na ganito(additional or change of item), i-chat niyo po si customer na i-cancel yung existing order niya lalo kung pending pa po ito at hindi pa naka tag as Ready To Ship status. Then re-order po ulit siya ng kung ano po yung gusto niya. At least sa ganitong paraan, maiiwasan po ni customer yung panibagong shipping fee lalo na kung wala po siyang voucher ng free shipping.

With regard to your concern po, if the order is already placed then we have no way po to modify the order such as adding po. What the Buyer can do is to order the same product again po.
