With regards about failed delivery. It will be return back to you within 45 days return process. You need to be present once the courier notify you that the parcel if for return. And before you accept your Parcel you need to check as well if the parcel is not damaged, if it is, you may refuse a return parcel on the spot and file a claim for the damaged return.
