We started in lazada last June 2020 to make another source of income aside from my regular work. Just like most of new sellers, we started slow and had our first order after two weeks. We focus on our product quality, shipping the product the next day, and excellent customer engagement. We started to build our top item after two months unfortunately it slow down in November 2020 due to a lack of stocks for almost a week. Then we think of posting another product that is in-demand to the current season thus we entered the terno pajama items, BT21 prints made us a hit but like most of us, we got the COVID-19 virus hence we had to rest and went to holiday mode. Our ranking went down from level 5 to level 2. But God is great, we were able to rise up and this time, we saw the opportunity to sell plus-size items. The move made our sells to go up and we were able to go back to level 5 and last December, we had the opportunity to taste being on level 6.
How do we give the best customer experience to our buyers? We process our product with good quality. The plastic that we use for each item is I would say "attractable" and gives a "wow effect" to customers. Most importantly, my job being in technical support, helps us to deal and make "bola" with customers in chat. It's like a match made for us. My wife manages the production and quality of the product and I interacted with customers. We answered customers' chats promptly since we know "every chat is a possible sale". Good customer service and quality of work translated to loyal customers and they referred us too. Providing excellent service helps us a lot. I remember one customer who needs to return an item since the courier delivered the wrong item (order switching of courier). We called them right away and that was 8 PM!! We assisted until the refund was processed. Because of this, we turn them into a repeat customer. They order to us I think several times and mostly above 5pcs each order. We can turn negative customers into opportunities.
The world of online selling is really fast pace. We think of ways to go the flow of in-demand items. Whatever a design becomes a hit, we see to it we have it available. Today I would say, free shipping is not only an advantage but a requirement. Customers always look for that free shipping badge in product postings in lazada. We have enrolled in lazada cashback too. We join the payday sales and mega campaign. I wish one time we can join the regular flash sale too! Watching what the competition has to offer will help us well. We have to be active in engaging with the lazada community group to learn with our fellow sellers and to be updated with the latest lazada news/updates. We still have more opportunities to learn in lazada.
We are very thankful with lazada and most importantly to our Lord for giving us the opportunity to be a "lazada seller". Currently, we have two stores in lazada but these are small stores but the combined profit means a lot. This allows us to save money for the future that our regular job had difficulty providing. We were able to buy a small lot as an investment and we are not worried about the college education of our children anymore. We will continue to help other people like our "mananahi" and be a blessing to others

Sharing our journey with Lazada on how we started with very small capital.
We started selling on Lazada around July 2018. Parehas kami ni ex-boyfriend (now husband š) na working nun. We started with P1,500 capital and 1 product. We only wanted a side hustle that can give us hopefully, P500 a day. Then after 2 weeks, we got our first order! Grabe yun! Mixed emotions! Happy and panic mode because we have no idea how to process and how to ship the order š The order got cancelled and we received an OVL Penalty š„² After that, we studied Lazada University everyday to learn how the platform works.
Fast forward to today, God has multiplied the P500 a day that we prayed for, into 50x-100x ā¤ļø My husband and I also have resigned on our day jobs and weāre doing Lazada selling and dropshipping full time. š„°
1st ADVICE that we can give is to STUDY AND UNDERSTAND the business and the platform. The work doesnāt end with posting your item on Lazada. We need to study different tools on Lazada and even the market behavior and trends and how we can incorporate those data in our business.
2nd ADVICE: LEARN HOW TO PRICE PRODUCTS. Donāt give so much consideration to price competition and price war. List down all your variable costs(cost of product, freight, packaging materials, etc) and fixed costs(rent, electricity, sahod, etc) and donāt forget to consider platform costs(coop fee, payment fee, provision for campaign discount, voucher, flexi combo, etc) After that, include your target mark-up. Check market price if itās still competitive. If your price is a bit too high, go with better branding and increase marketing efforts to increase perceived value of your products.
3rd ADVICE: FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT. In order to build a sustainable business, we need good financial management and good spending habits. Donāt consider the money of the business as your personal money. As for us, we give ourselves a salary per month then whatever is left, we use it to build product assortment and to invest in other business ventures and capital assets.

Convert angry customers to happy & satisfied customers. Manage returns promptly. I have accepted a return before even if it was the customer's fault. I've rejected refund and sent her back the item with the item she needs. She turned out to be a CEO of a company. I might have lost money, but after that incident I got orders from VIPs.
For new sellers, please learn the platform before you start selling. I remembered studying for 1 month before I started my Lazada shop. If you are asking very simple questions in the fb page, you are not ready.

When we are choosing a product to sell, we chose those products that we can proud of, yung kami mismo nagamit namin at marerecommend namin sa family at kaibigan namin. Ayaw ko magbenta ng something na mahihiya akong banggitin sa ibang tao dahil pangit ang quality or madali masira.
We make sure that we are knowledgeable about our products. We research, check specification, benefits, best use case. If gadget ang ibebenta benta namin, we learn and train our staff how to troubleshoot and how to use. Para kami mismo matutulungan ang customer if ever they have questions or they will request for after sales support.
We quality check items before packaging. We wrap items like we are wrapping gifts to our loved ones. We put thank you card to all orders kahit tag Php 10 lang binili nila, and pag may promo at kaya sa budget, we add freebie to thank our customers for their purchase. Lalo pag napansin naming repeat buyer, nag-aadd kami kahit maliit na freebie to extend our appreciation.
Provide after sales support. We process return and refund from our customer immediately specially pag kami ang may fault. We assist our customers as much as we can kahit matagal na nilang na receive yung order nila. Some of them, naging repeat customers at nirecommend ang shop namin.

Sharing my journey with Lazada on how I Started with Nothing.
Nakakapagtaka mang isipin pero yun po ang totoo, from 2005 na nanakawan ang physical store namin at nabaon kami sa utang, nasheriff ang bahay at nakitira nalang kami sa maliit na bahay ng mother ko, free sa lahat (tubig, kuryente, bahay at minsan pati pagkain).
As God instructed me, I start selling on Lazada around April 2017. No product with no capital. God is good dahil that time active ako as Real estate agent. Nakapag advance commission ako sa mabait naming broker and sa tulong na rin ng mother ko. I Started with P2,000 capital sa isang product lang (Castor Oil) with 10 skus. Imagine, kakaupload ko lng, may 5 orders na agad kinabukasan. Sobrang hirap kasi wla akong printer that time, every 6am kumakatok ako sa computer shop na malapit sa amin para lang mgpaprint ng waybill. Ang every two weeks ang payout dati kaya pasalamat ako na may mother akong nahihirapan para pambili ng product dahil wla pang payout. Kaya naman unang payout ko na P54,000 bumili agad akong printer worth P1500 at ngbayad agad sa nahiram ko sa mother ko.
Ginamit ng Lord ang platform na ito para mabago ang life namin, after 6mos ngresign na ang husband ko work niya (cook sa isang karenderya). March 2018 nkapagrent na kmi sa isang apartment dahil masikip na sa bahay ng mother ko, at narelease na rin ang brand new Innova the following month. Sa ngaun we have 6 properties ang continues na naggrow ang aming sales. This year 2022, nakapag open na rin kami ng OWN BRAND DROPSHIPPING.

First ADVICE that I can give is KNOW YOUR PURPOSE. If we are rooted with our purpose, kahit anong dumating na challenges, hindi ka gigive up. Lagi kang makakakita ng HOPE, STRATEGY and MOTIVATION. Mgfflow nalng lahat kapag alam natin at nalalakaran natin ang purpose natin.
Second ADVICE is BUILD YOUR OWN BRAND. Iba kapag tatak mo, brand mo. Unique yan dahil mgrerepresent yan sau. Sure ang repeat orders dahil wla niyan sa iba, ikaw lang ang source. Kaya kapag rooted ka sa purpose, makakakita ka ng mga product na pwed mong iproduce na ikaw lang ang source. You can offer Reselling, Rebranding and even Dropshipping tulad namin.
Third ADVICE is BE A SUPPLIER. Never kang mazezero kapag supplier ka, hnd ka lng retailer. Alam nyo bang lahat ng ginagamit kung materials, pouch and packaging is FREE? because I supply what I have. Less na sya sa cost ko.
Fourth ADVICE is FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT. Kahit pa gaano kalaki ang income mo kung hindi ka marunong mghandle, wala rin. I have 9 bank account kasi siniseparate ko ang mga expenses, savings, investments and pang purchase ng products. Need natin mgkaroon ng ASSET mindset para hnd masayang ang pinagpaguran natin. How to manage? well, need natin ng wisdom from GOD. I gave my Tithes and Offerings first before anything else. And amazingly God multiply it.
Fifth ADVICE is BUILD a GOOD RELATIONSHIP to your CUSTOMERS, STAFF, SUPPLIERS and CO-SELLERS. Malaking factor po ito para lumago po ang ating negosyo, Treating others well is also a BUSINESS. Dito tau lalong magggrow.
Lastly, always IHA (Inquire Hear & Abide) and IHO(Inquire, Hear & OBEY) never IHI(Inquire, Hear & Ignore) to GOD for HE is the ONLY SOURCE for all that we need.

I opened my Lazada account around November 2019 but I started getting serious with it second half of the year of 2020. I left my corporate job after achieving my goal in my career and so I pursue another and targets a new sets of goal under the partnership of Lazada.
One learning I got from my previous work is how to maintain customer satisfaction at all time. And so I applied it in my Lazada journey. How do I do it? Here are some tips that I can share.
o Know your product so you can answer customer easily. Try or use them if you must so conversation will be smooth, answering queries will be fast and opinions stated with the products are honest.
o If the customer ask for a recommendation, do not just recommend because you wanted to sell your slow moving stock but recommend as to what is really your personal preference and what other customers buy the most and base on other customers feedback.
o Invest in packaging. It adds to your operating cost but making sure that the item inside is secure will go a long way. Goods in pristine condition inside will make your customer happy. Remember to pack your item as if it will return to you and if in case of customer cancellation or rejects, at least can still re-sell it.
o One Lazada training shared and it stuck to my mind: "The customers may not be always right but they should always be treated right". Patience is the key.
In summary, put heart in everything that you do and the rest will follow. There will be ups and down but eventually with hard work and perseverance, your Lazada goals will be achieved!

By the help of my vendor manager and lazada university, natuto ako ng ways to improve my store and marketing strategies. As much as possible, try to learn something from past webinars provided to us for free if hindi naman ganun kadami ang orders in a day. Another thing is to benchmark your competitors and from there malalaman mo yung different approach nila to market their products in terms of pricing, store designs, promotions they offered, etc. Also have time to learn basic photo editing to make your product gallery more appealing/clickable sa mga buyers. Make sure lang na sharp and of high quality din ang photos na i-aupload mo. If makakapagprovide ka ng small presentation or video for your product, like how it works and how it can solve their problem, plus points din yun to entice your target customers.

I just started last year here in Lazada, and ang kakaiba siguro sa journey kong ito ay hindi ako kagaya ng ibang sellers, I am working for a company today, and I am selling their products. To start my story, last year around july-august, sobrang depressed ako sa past work ko, dahil sa iilan lang kami sa company and sobrang overwhelmed ako sa dami ng responsibilities and I decided to quit, during those 2 months, almost naging suicidal ako, being a breadwinner of our family and knowing na mawawalan ako ng work, eats up my whole mind and soul. But God is good and provided me a job in a new company, started with minimum (which na hindi sapat sa family ko unlike sa past work ko), nagustuhan nila performance ko and gave me an opportunity to earn more by selling for them. Luckily since I started in December, I am selling now in a good digit and have my incentives na mapantayan yung salary ko with my past job :) sobrang bait ni Lord sakin, I am thankful for my employer and also with Lazada, without them, baka depressed parin ako sa buhay ko. <3

I created my Lazada onlineshop 2 years ago pero hindi pako nakapag tinda agad since hindi ko pa alam kung anong market ang papasukin ko at anong product ang ibebenta ko.
Fastforward 2021..
Natanggal ako sa work ko last August 2021 due pandemic, walang sales sa work, mahina ang benta... and from there I check back the Lazada store na napabayaan ko na.
Since I have direct contact sa mga Owner at Manufacturer na naging client ko nung nag ta trabaho pako as ahente ng mga makina for production ng mga plastic products. I have this former client and owner ng isang malaking Plastic manufacturing plant na nag offer sa akin na maging isa sa wholesaler nia since nalaman nia nga na nawalan ako ng work. back then i was hesitant since wala pakong idea sa mga Pet & Poultry supplies product.
She then gave me more idea about sa product and from there binuhay ko uli yung LAZADA Store ko pagpasok ng 2022.
I started with a small capital and from there inaral ko ang tamang pagbibigay ng details sa aking product to make it more searchable. after 2 weeks orders started coming and from my small capital napaikot ko na sya and right now i have daily order kahit papaano nakatulong malaki yung kinikita ko kahit nawalan ako ng work.
My Lazada store help me out na makasurvive on my daily need especially i have a 2 yr. old baby girl.

>once nag inquire si client thru chat. aside from giving them the best price I always tell them that my product is Value for money. mas matibay... may quality.
I always make it sure na tama ang color at specs by always keeping them updated by sending PHOTOS of the items bago ko ipack for them to see na tama ang quantity, size at color.

I am a general manager for a construction company pero pangarap ko talaga magka business. One day, nakakita ako ng ad ni Lazada na nagsasabing mabilis lang ang onboarding para maging Lazada seller. Agad akong nagsign up at nagtabi ng Php 5,000 bilang puhunan. Naghanap hanap ako ng mga shops sa Divisoria na pwede kong pagbilhan ng mga supplies. Pagdating sa pagpili ng products for my online store, nag-decide ako to venture into general merchandise ā particularly home products (sponges, dishwashing liquid etc).
Ang mga unang buwan ko as an online seller ay hindi madali. Umaabot lang minsan ng 20 items per month ang nabebenta ko. One day, nakakuha ako ng email invitation na sumali sa 6.6 sale. I knew this is a great opportunity for me to increase traffic and sales since mas matutulungan ako ni Lazada when it comes to store and product visibility. Luckily, I earned my first 5 digit sale in a month dahil sa pagsali sa mega campaign. Mula nun, I always make sure to join.
Dahil sa kinita ko sa una kong mega campaign, nagkaroon ako ng budget for sponsored solutions to further grow the visibility of my products. Laking pasalamat ko sa Lazada dahil na-fulfill niya ang pangarap kong negosyo at meron na din akong pandagdag sa aking retirement fund.
Started my online business 4 years ago while I was still finishing my bachelorās degree. Wala naman taIaga sa plano na mag-venture into online business habang nag-aaral pa ko but my family experienced a financial problem kaya I decided to make a store to help sa aming finances. Yung bahay namin malapit sa gilingan ng kape so I decided to ask them kung open sila na mag partner ā sila magpprovide ng kape then Iāll handle the selling on Lazada. Luckily, napapayag ko sila. Di nagtagal because of my returning buyers and good reviews, lumago na ng lumago ang aking online business. Kung dati ako lang at yung partner ko sa gilingan, ngayon may hired staff na din kami for packing and monitoring of orders.
Sa buong journey ko sa Lazada, talagang ang natutunan ko ay to build relationships with your customers. Aside from chatting with them, nakatulong din ay paglalagay ng mga thank you notes with a message to give buyer reviews.
