good afternoon mam. Yes, the customer can still contest but Lazada will step in to arbitrate based on the evidence presented by both customer and seller. Both customer may receive a refund and seller, their payment.
Hi ka seller. Yes, the customer can still contest and please provide or present evidences of your rejection. The Lazada will do the process of investigation on the presented evidences by both seller and buyer. Also you were advised by Lazada if your evidenced is not enough to reject the said returned item. The refund will automatically charged to your account. Please avoid those incidents which will caused deactivation of store product.

If ever you have reject the customer's request to return or refund the item.
The Customer has 7 days to file for a Dispute for the rejected return.
Once the Dispute has been filed , the Dispute Team will reach out to you and the buyer for more information regarding the issue so that they can make an informed decision.
Please ensure you respond to the evidence request within the deadlines indicated in the request.
